This book is almost 25 years old, but reading it now feels eerily prescient, right down to its Instagram-square ready shape and Sharon Tate cover: “As a news anchor, Juanita can‘t help but notice some type of national malaise floating about the air. Perhaps every election year is like this. And being in TV, Juanita knows that certain people have much to gain by propagating such negative discussion.”
pickThis was a weird book I stole off my dad's nightstand when I was about 14. It was probably one of the first contemporary adult books I read and I just remember the whole thing being a bit crazy...

so-soThis was recommended by a friend who loves Douglass Coupland. It was a slow read but a good one, I found myself really into it right at the end. It's quite the wild ride.
