pickFew things are scarier today than exploring the possible limits of technology. This is an impressive thriller based on technology and how it could affect society in the wrong hands. Greatly recommended.

pickI had been anticipating this book since its announcement, and Mr. Pullman did not disappoint. I can remember picking out His Dark Materials and reading all three books within in a week while I was in the second grade. I‘ve never experienced a world as engrossing as the one that exists in these books, and Dust pulled me right back in. Gorgeously written story. Did anyone else struggle to pick out their daemon?

I am SO excited for this book. Philip Pullman is o e of my favorite childhood authors. I adore the His Dark Materials series and I can't wait to jump back into that world.

pickStill can't believe how this book slipped under my radar for so long. It was so hard trying to get myself away from finishing this as fast as I can, but alas, I have work to do. I'm assuming this is a YA series, since the main characters are barely in their teens, but the impetus for the whole book seems so complex for a YA story. I love the #daemon concept! Can't wait to finish all 3 books! #bookandcoffee
