I find this episode really disturbing in light of current events. The part of the episode that has stuck with me is where Marritza said he hid under his desk while hearing the screams of tortured Bajorans. If I look in the mirror, sometimes I feel that is me. There are POC dying in police custody. There are children in cages at the border. I tweet about it. I exercise my right to vote, but I need to do more. #Duet #StarTrekSummerJune

Megabooks @TheBookDream I know. I‘m a 12+ hour drive from Dallas, much less El Paso. I just feel like everyone is so passionate one way or the other, there is no listening. I‘m donating to dems and Act Blue. ACLU is a good idea. I‘m also going to join my local Democratic Party. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 5y

Duets | Carol Finch

One of the better Season 1 episodes of DS9. Kira is always an interesting, multifaceted character. Watching her grow and realize all Cardassians aren't evil made the episode very enjoyable.

DS9 1.19 #Duet My 2nd favourite DS9. Poignant and gut-wrenching. What happens when you meet your torturer and he hates himself as much as you hate him for what he did? Is forgiveness even possible? We all have different answers for that one. Here's mine:

Megabooks When I was talking to a friend (Republican) about the concentration camps at the US Southern border, she started making excuses. I just said, you‘re white, you don‘t belong here either! 🤦🏻‍♀️ idk what to do about my conservative friends, but it‘s nearly impossible not to have them around here. 5y

What He Doesn't Know | Kandi Steiner

Part of a duet, "What He Doesn't Know" has raving reviews on GoodReads. So I thought I'd give it a go - even though I hate love-triangles and books that have the same main characters spilling over into another book.
Already I can feel that there's some cheating in there - emotionally or physically. Let's see.
