So I burnt my hand Friday on the oven, it hurt but not awful bad but it‘s just gotten worse, it hurts so so bad, worse than it did when I first burnt it. Any suggestions?? #ouch #extragraceful #icantcookwithouthurtingmyself
tournevis It looks infected. You should get it looked at. 7y
CocoReads Yikes! Do you have any aloe? Burn cream? I‘d also try to leave it open to air if you can. My stuff always seems to heal faster if I can leave it uncovered when I‘m at home. 7y
MinDea Have you tried aloe vera? That should sooth the heat/tingling and also provide moisture to it... 7y

CocoReads Also I agree with @tournevis get it looked at if you can. 7y
callielafleur Definitely get it looked at. Coconut oil shouldn't hurt, as long as you're not allergic. 7y
RaimeyGallant Doctor. No creams unless it's a burn ointment. Aloe, but read online how to do it. Cold water. 7y
laurieluna I burned myself on hot oil once, ended up having to get it looked at at A&E. They put something on it and wrapped it. I definitely recommend getting it looked at. X 7y
KrystleTheBookSlayer I seem to burn myself a lot. Aloe is good, but don't use anything with oil (that locks in heat from the burn), you can also hold it under cool water (not ice cold). 7y
monkeygirlsmama No tips, but wanted to say I hope you feel better. Ive burnt my hand on the oven more than once, and in my experience it just took time to heal. I don‘t really remember if it got worse or not though. 7y
Redwritinghood If there‘s no infection, a lidocaine cream can help with the pain. You should be able to find some at the drug store. 7y
TheBookStacker Neosporin with pain relief in it. 7y
Jess7 Ouch! Hope you feel better soon! 7y
Andrew65 Ouch 🙁, I agree I would get it checked out - burns are the worst. Hope you get some relief. 😊 7y
Dragon That looks so painful. Hope it heals quickly 💐 7y
CouronneDhiver Aloe and a sterile gauze dressing/bandage. And ibuprofen or acetaminophen. If you‘re concerned, see a doc (edited) 7y
