“More time passed”
This book could be used to show historical change and it would be interesting to use a timeline to help students understand this concept.

This book has amazing, illustrations and an interesting storyline. Well, I enjoyed this book. It is not my favorite, but it would still make a good addition to a classroom library.
“Sitting at this meal we share, we are grateful and aware, sending thanks upon the air...“
This is a perfect book to use in elementary grade classrooms to explain how food gets to our tables. It teaches children to appreciate all the people that are involved in the food process. Rhyming is also a great bonus from this book!
The wonderful illustrations are a great way to explain how much work goes into providing our food. This book shares simple explanations and promotes thankfulness. Great read for curious young children!

I love David Shannon's books. “No, David“ is a fave but this one is really good, also!
