Cinfhen I see you gave it 3.75….what did you like/ dislike??? 1y
jenniferw88 @Cinfhen I liked Galatea but didn't like her husband (& it's meant to be that way!). I didn't like the jumping around of locations/characters without clear paragraph breaks (it's a formatting issue really). X 1y
Librarybelle Good choice! 1y

Of course this was awesome - it‘s IA stories from the world of Kate Daniels! That said, some were better than others (Kate only features in two, and only largely in one), but none were bad. My favorite part was the Curran POV, but it jumps around a lot so you really need to be familiar with the series for it to work. #52Books23 #featuresmythology #DoubleSpin for March.

Branwen I don't know why, but I really love this cover! 💕 2y
ravenlee @Branwen right? It‘s low-key but at the same time you can tell she‘s got no f***s to give. Also, if you know the “here kitty, kitty” bit this is very much how I picture her in that scene. 2y
Branwen @ravenlee OMG yes! 🥰 2y

I had a hard time getting into this, but it was good overall. The narrator is an aki, a sin-eater, part of the lowest caste in Kos but absolutely necessary to the city‘s existence. He becomes embroiled in palace intrigues and gets caught up in a rebellion. Ends on a cliffhanger, which is annoying. #52Books23 #highfantasy could also be #presenttense or #containsafuneral or #featuresmythology or probably others

ravenlee Also my February #doublespin 2y
