

I actually watched the show before reading this, and I think that took away some of the thrill from the book. However, I still enjoyed the read and love the story. I devoured the second season as soon as it came out on Netflix.

I may or may not have read LW in its entirety when I was much younger but I can‘t be entirely sure. As far as Thomas Hardy, I‘ve only read Tess of the d‘Urbervilles.
