pickVery much enjoyed this one, as usual with KJ Charles' books. The ending felt... maybe a little too swift, and I'd have liked them to meet a few more times before concluding that it's love, but I did like Joel and Aaron's connection.
And look! I managed a blackout on my self-assigned mini-bingo, on day 5/5.
(Technically after day 5 was over, but it's not tomorrow until I've been to sleep, that's the rule.)

I started KJ Charles‘s latest last night, and oooh, friends, it‘s right where I want to be. I hope I can scrounge enough time to finish it on this busy day.
pickSo I enjoyed this (read it super fast because it was gripping) but it wasn‘t what I would call a cozy. Some really dark sexual themes (abuse). So… yeah. Wasn‘t really the “light read” I was hoping to offset some of my more deep currents.

About 100 pages in, picked this one up because the other fiction book I was reading felt too “heavy” but this one is kinda “heavy” too for a cozy. Maybe I‘m just in an emotional state 🫤
pickThis is fascinating! I did skim some of the crime-y parts but this is crazy interesting and I learned a ton.
panIncorporating graphology to help track down a killer is something I haven't seen done yet. The characters were meh. I couldn't connect with any of them. The plot was okay. Seeing the inside of a cult was fascinating, but because of the dull characters, I couldn't really get into it.
