The Gift: Poems by Hafiz, the Great Sufi Master | Hafiz

This is my favorite gift to get and give! I‘m less about things (unless it‘s books!) and all about experiences. When I turned 50, I took each of my daughter on a trip of their choice(Yes, there was a $$$ limit). I had a fantastic trip with each of them! I‘ll be 60 in 2024, maybe I‘ll have to do that again! 😉

Reggie The woman who runs our slot tech department did that with her family until all the kids graduated. Usually it was a cruise she said. This is very awesome. 1y

I really enjoyed these renderings of Hafiz‘s poetry. They were by times both passionate and hilarious. This book would be a great choice for an introduction to Hafiz. It contains fewer than 10% of his poems, but what is included is an excellent sampling. Highly recommended!

Maybe I just can't let go of my expectation that things make some kind of sense, but sometimes I suspect consensus reality of growing ever more bizarre so that we'll eventually have to acknowledge it's all been a collective #dream.
