EchoLogical Isn't the most obvious choice but the college I attended, Hampton University, was nicknamed my home by the sea and I read this book there many years ago and haven't forgotten it, by far one of my favorites.

A haven & meeting place for all my sibs (8) & their families - so we have been so fortunate to have a place near the ocean to go to. We are scattered: Alaska, CA, Nebraska, MA, CT. We will miss it , but you are right, such a treasure box of memories. ❤️🌊🐚🐠 7y

kspenmoll It is a beautiful spot! All of us in summer try to get there and at least overlap a weekend. Those of us who live closer manage to visit more often! We are still using it; its not on the market yet. We are dragging our feet & enjoying it. I am gathering from your posts you moved - are you separated from family or nearby? (edited) 7y

Jumping in to #rockinmay after my few days hiatus from Litsy, with #homebythesea . I used to live in an apartment overlooking this harbour cove, and it was one of my favourite places to take a book and read. This is the last book I read there before moving away to a home that was no longer near the sea!
