Never thought I'd be rockin' out to Iron Maiden, but the brilliance of this series had me google some lyrics in a panel & here we are!

A stylish, dystopic sci fi detective noir about privacy, freedom, isolation and connection, looking back at our current technological age and forward to possible dramatic difference with an equally jaundiced eye. More questions raised than points made. As much sex/nudity/violence as I've come to expect from Vaughan after Saga.
I honestly have no idea where this series is going, but I think that‘s exciting. Fiona Staples‘ artwork is amazing as always.

This was cool! A near future America where the fourth estate takes control after the digital Cloud bursts and the Internet is dismantled. A P.I. gets pulled into a conspiracy when his client is killed. A classic trope, but expertly translated into a unique setting. Maybe my last completed read of 2024?
The story continues. Alana is trying to keep and her kids under the radar, and we get some backstory.

Issues #61-66 are compiled into Volume 11 of this ongoing, never disappointing, speculative fiction graphic novel series. Alana is trying to stay under the radar in order to keep her kids safe, while Petrichor is bent on revenge. Can love conquer hate? That‘s the question in this volume‘s narrative arc, as well as in the entire series. #LGBTQ #comics
Alana packing orders at “Fulfillment” — doesn‘t she look like a happy camper?
