Ohh, that certainly went places. I think I'd hoped for a happier ending, but... no, this makes sense.

This filled soooo many prompts for different stuff, ahaha. Also I'd say if you're looking for a spooky graphic novel quick read for #HauntedShelf or the #GottaCatchEmAllSpooky, I'd recommend this. It's a bit gory, a bit creepy, the ideas are pretty neat, and I like the art. I'm interested enough to see where the story goes; I'll read the next volume.

I enjoyed this one. It feels like it's promising. I found Volumes 2 and 3 on Libby, so there is that. Reading comics on the phone, though, is a bit difficult for me, so.... they will probably be slow going.

COVID has me unable to speak (my throat hurts so much). And I‘m in and out of sleeping and just barely functioning but… I decided to start this one today. I love the whole punk vibe

A punk band, a haunted house, and ghosts all in one vividly colored graphic novel. 👻

I liked this one. A girl goes into a haunted house and gets sent on a mission to recover the missing ghosts from the house. The paranormal aspect was different with unique ghosts but it worked really well with the story. I'll definitely be picking up the next one.

The story is captivating and a wild ride, but I just wish that every adult graphic novel I read didn‘t make me literally nauseous from the gore and violence.

Another one in my Favorites if 2021 column! I heard this one mentioned on the Reading Glasses podcast and was thrilled to see I could get the galley on Edelweiss. The next collected volume comes out in November, so I may be buying each issue as they‘re released because I‘m not sure I can wait that long. Really hoping to find out more of Ami‘s backstory soon. Definitely falls into the horror category and the visuals don‘t hold back.
