DGRachel @Blaire I think my mom did the same thing - read The Gulag Archipelago and The Cancer Ward the same year. @dsfisher can you confirm? 7y

dsfisher No, I did start the Cancer Ward shortly after finishing the Gulag but needed some lighter stuff in between in fact I would take short breaks in the Gulag if I picked up a Christie just so I could breathe. 7y
