5-18-21: My 50th finished book of 2021! I won this from Goodreads and I‘m so glad I did. Jenny Lawson is one of my favorite authors. Her books are funny and poignant and this was just as wonderful as her previous works. 12-29-20: My 113th finished book of 2020! This was a re-read for me. I decided to buy both of her books for myself for Christmas this year and re-read them to lift my spirits. This book talks about her upbringing in rural Texas, her marriage, the birth of her daughter and her love of taxidermy to name just a few things. I LOVED the parts about mental illness, they were so comforting and affirming. The other chapters that were about moments in her life like visiting Australia, were kind of lost of me. Maybe because I never read her blog or her other books? I also listened to it on audiobook and found myself zoning out. I would recommend this overall if you are interested in her style/mental illness are your thing. #FuriouslyHappy #JennyLawson
