I can‘t believe this only has a 60% here on Litsy!! This was a reread for me but DAMN. Cline‘s writing is just phenomenal. Her writing style sucks you in and it‘s so descriptive you feel like you‘re there. This book also made me realize I could have very easily found myself in a cult at Evie‘s age if I‘d been given the chance 😬

This wasn‘t my favorite Backman novel, but I still liked it. I actually laughed out loud in some parts which is always a plus! The thing that kept me from absolutely loving it was the premise was very near that of Bel Canto.

Wow I flew through this book. What a heartbreaking story. I‘m so glad she‘s taken control of her life and is doing better now. Great read.

This was not as good as The House in the Cerulean Sea. It was slow to start and I didn‘t really care for the ending. I did enjoy the middle section and I love Klune‘s writing.

When I first read these books 20 years ago, I actually never finished this one. I felt like if I didn‘t finish it the whole adventure (and the release of the movies) couldn‘t end. 😂 A 13 year old‘s logic 😂 This was such a great read and rereading/finishing this trilogy made me so happy. Such a beautiful story ♥️

I flew through all of Saga. I‘m just so surprised how into it I got so quickly.

I think I would have liked this better ten years ago. I can still do YA but this one was a little far fetched and too neat of an ending.

This was really good! I wish I hadn‘t been so tired when reading it.. my baby is going through a sleep regression 😬 so I feel like there is more to get out of it.

I‘ve learned a lot rereading these! I did enjoy the Fellowship more, but I think the second book in a trilogy is usually weakest because there really isn‘t a beginning or an end 🤷‍♀️

This book is absolutely nothing like the show 😅 I think the only similarities are the names! I still found it unsettling and I enjoyed how quick it was!

I first read this book when I was 13… so it‘s been almost 20 years 😅 definitely got more out of it this time!! A must MUST read!

This was very enlightening. I read it in one sitting though, so I feel like I might need to reread it to get everything out of it 😊

TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ This was a bit slow at first because the author was finding her groove as a private investigator, but overall a really powerful book on rape culture and sexual abuse.

I think I would have loved this if I was a teenager, but it was just a little too young for me.

Wow wow wow. What an excellent book. So very sad, but Westover‘s ability to escape it all was so inspiring. A must read if you liked The Glass Castle.

This was another one that was just okay. I think it was too long and some stuff was just fluff.

Meh. I had high hopes for this one and it really fell flat for me. It didn‘t flow very well-I Never knew if she was talking about her past or in the current tense.

This was a very different kind of thriller and I really liked it! It was a super fast read too.

This was a fascinating read. Sometimes it was very dry and read like a history textbook, but I really enjoyed it… enjoyed the Hulu series after reading it too!

If you are an Eleanor Oliphant fan-pick this book up!! I loved it! The main character, Molly, seems to have autism but the author does such a wonderful job not making it the central focus of the book. It‘s a great book!

I‘m really glad I read the preface written by Herbert‘s son first because it kind of gave showed you what was to come with Paul. I did like this one, but not as much as Dune.

This was a really cute book. I love the concept of making new friends when you‘re in your 80s. It was a quick read!

I loved the classic Picoult plot twist that we haven‘t seen for a few books from her, but honestly this book is about the beginning of the pandemic and it made me really anxious reading it… I just think maybe I wasn‘t ready for it.

This was a perfect October book! It was unsettling and it just drew you in quickly. A little gory, but so good.

Another very YA book. Some of it was a little cringe-y (the perfect nights as teenagers falling in love) but from the perspective of a trans woman (teen). Overall though, I liked it.

I will definitely continue this series! It‘s hard for me to read graphic novels most of the time, but this was an easy read!

I live in Texas, so this was a fascinating read. It was a little dry and thick with policy, but I learned so much! If you are interested in the history of the death penalty you should definitely read this!

This was a very YA book, but I liked it. It was an easy listen.

I loved reading about this culture. I really don‘t know much about Russia or it‘s culture. A lot of it seemed more like short stories than a cohesive novel, but I liked it anyway!

What a crazy memoir. I do not understand how this psychiatrist kept his license for so long. I guess I have to watch the movie now!
