#tuesdaytunes @TieDyeDude

I love to listen to relaxing sounds when reading, especially those that involve nature (rain sounds are a favorite). My new passion are the albums on the National Parks with beautiful musical tones as well as sounds from the parks themselves. The albums are all available on AppleMusic and Spotify, and I created a playlist on Spotify if you're interested. Here's the shortened link:

Kerrbearlib I‘m going to check these albums out- thanks for sharing! 4mo

Suet624 Oh my gosh! Thank you for this playlist. I like listening to nature sounds, especially in winter when the snow is coming down outside my window. 4mo
dabbe @Suet624 You're welcome! I'm playing it right now! 🩶🧡🩶 4mo
TieDyeDude That's cool. I never thought to listen to ambient sounds before. I'll have to give that a try. Stacy doesn't like listening to music while reading, so that could be a compromise. 4mo
dabbe @TieDyeDude I hope she likes it! 🤩 4mo

Pickpick

I don‘t recall how this book got on my radar, but I‘m grateful it did. I love nature and National Parks are the embodiment of preserving our magnificent pieces of land and monuments. Don‘t be misled, this book is not a guide to the National Parks. It‘s a fascinating history of the establishment of the park system, dating back to the late 1800‘s.

This extraordinary documentary is playing now on CNN and can be streamed through PBS anytime. A must watch, especially for those interested in historical accuracy. It‘s vital to keep the holocaust alive with holocaust deniers out there in the world. The accompanying book was eye opening when I read it ages ago. #USandtheholocaust #KenBurns

Thanks for the tag @TheAromaofBooks

1. Lots if I take my tablet
2. Yes, I usually take a physical book. But it all depends where I'm traveling to.

I finally watched the first episode of the Ken Burns Hemingway Doc last night. Young Hemingway was definitely a heartbreaker and handsome before his infamous mustache addition. I‘ve only read his short stories and The Old Man and the Sea. Now I am really feeling the need to read his longer novels. #kenburns #documentary @Kimberlone

Kimberlone I haven‘t read too much more than you, just a farewell to arms and for whom the bell tolls but I really want to read the Sun also rise and a moveable feast now! 4y
Saknicole @kimberlone summer Hemingway bookclub? 4y
