Sunday is the best day. #lazy
Audiobooks are getting me through life right now. 😂 I‘m so glad I was able to catch up on a few reviews today, and I had a really great birthday weekend overall!
Best on top! Two fantastic short story collections and Hello Beautiful. The rest are in no particular order. #lazy 😉 The Exceptions was a great look at sexism in STEM academia, but it got a bit long. The Lipman was some fun 🧠🍭, but the Shapiro was really hard/dark. #BookReport
I still feel guilty about it though. This was a May #bookspin and I've avoided reading it. Parts of it were very good but if it's been weeks and I don't look forward to reading it that can't be a good sign.
What a great way to procrastinate cleaning and packing earlier today - with a cup of coffee and a good book!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
This is more political and slower paced compared to the first two books, but it‘s still thoroughly enjoyable and a satisfying end to the Millennium Trilogy! Currently unsure if I‘d like to continue reading the series written by a different author though...

“On the day of her wedding to the prince, as Renée spoke her marriage vows, better jewels nor flowers fell from her lips, for now she had no longer needed them.”
Traditional. This is essentially a different version of the classic Cinderella tale, making the story perfect for young children. It‘s silly but still has a message and is easy to follow and engage a classroom of children.
