2024 has been a weird reading year. I made my goal yesterday (150) but have also had the biggest reading slump of my life since finding out I'm pregnant. Tips and tricks??

I joined a lovely Book PR group and found the most incredible community.

I completed multiple series I've been working on forever.

I listened to Order of the Phoenix four times apparently?!?

My favorite read of the year was a tie: Cloud Cuckoo Land and A Little Too Familiar.

I am jusssst barely started on this book and I'm already having strong feelings. Namely, the fact that it just unapologetically drops you into an abnormal situation and expects you to just roll with it, no lengthy explanation and back story. I didn't realize how much I appreciated that until this book.

Someone please tell me why Verity is so popular? Like what do y'all enjoy about it? It wasn't for me...so much so that I have an hour left of the audiobook and I'm thinking of dnf'ing it. Please help me understand.
