Three siblings take a crash course through how not to handle holiday romances, and the punches keep coming. I read this over the summer and enjoyed it. Each character's story is interesting and well-paced, with a satisfying conclusion. I almost felt overwhelmed by so many things happening at once but it felt balanced enough to keep me going. Do read the content warnings. #LGBTQIA #Holdays #HolidayRomance

When Selena comes to her aunt‘s home, she expects to find family & rest after her mother‘s death & a recent breakup. Instead she finds an empty house, a squash god, friends, & an evil roadrunner.

T Kingfisher really does not miss. This was a charming story about finding where you belong & the strength to stand up for yourself, w/ creepy scenes of not knowing what‘s happening. Adored all the characters, & the ending was perfection.🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

I've been meaning to read this series, so with the Heated Rivalry tv show airing this month, it was the perfect time to start. I really enjoyed Scott and Kip's story. A chance meeting at the smoothie shop where Kip works leads to a secret romance between the two men. Poor Scott wrestles with his identity as a closeted gay hockey player and Kip won't stay a secret forever. I loved their chemistry together

My one outstanding prompt was Autistic Rep, and what better book for that prompt than Hannah Gadsby's memoir?

I did this one in audio to hear it in Gadsby's own voice. It is brilliant, of course, and devastating.

willaful I enjoyed the audio as well. Powerful book. I brought home a copy from a LFL for my daughter, I hope she'll try it. 1w
Lauredhel @willaful nice LFL find! Has your daughter watched Nanette? 1w
willaful @Lauredhel yes, we watched “Nanette“ and “Douglas“ as a family. 1w

This continues to be a charming manga exploring LGBTQIA+ and new ally experiences alongside in-panel baking and dessert recipes. Toshi continues to grapple with the concept of coming out, and his staffer continues to delve into what it means to support the queer community. #LGBTQIA #Manga #Baking

I was a bit disappointed by this one. I was looking forward to learning more about dragon boat racing but besides the race at the end it was hardly mentioned besides the two attending practices. Julie is a workaholic & Rae, despite their attraction for her, doesn't want a relationship with someone who won't put them first. Except this doesn't really stop them- their relationship builds quickly & without much conflict

This is a quintessential coming of age novel, with a lovely focus on queer identity and asexuality. Georgia is obsessed with the idea of being in love but has never felt that spark for another person. There is typical university romantic drama throughout plus an emotional reckoning of society's romantic expectations. Oseman as always writes a wonderful cast of characters who all struggle in different ways

You take 1 ghost space ship, scrub it clean of Lovecraft fish people, add in a werewolf, a mummy, a Frankenstein, & an AI doctor, mix it like a margarita shaker, then send them off to kill Dracula. What could possibly go wrong?

Everything. Everything goes wrong. This pastiche of horror icons made me LOL several times. Not a lot of character depth, but I was honestly having too much fun to care. I want more of this group‘s adventures! 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

Like any short story collection, some stories were more enjoyable than others. I definitely had fun reading this and getting to know or re-experience so many wonderful authors, and I love a good collection with trans and nonbinary characters. My favorites might be the one with the storm lighthouse and the one narrated by the magic school. #LGBTQIA #Magic #ShortStories

This was a fun mystery. I liked going along for the ride with Oliver and Ricky as they veer from their travel writing to solve an unexpected murder. Oliver is autistic and uncomfortable with changing plans, but he builds confidence in himself with Ricky's help. The two try to get to the bottom of the disturbances of a self-driving car company without getting into trouble themselves.
Great start of a new cozy mystery series #SeriesLove2025
