This is definitely my favorite sourdough cookbook. I mixed up the dough for these overnight baguette twists yesterday afternoon, shaped them early this morning, and baked them before leaving for church. The recipe is simple and delicious!

pickGot this book at Bob‘s Red Mill in Milwaukie, OR, just south of Portland, OR on vacation. So cool to see the headquarters in person! They have all kinds of Bob‘s Red Mill products at my grocery store in the natural food section. There are 31 recipes I want to try making in here. No pictures of recipes, though. I want to see how it‘s supposed to turn out!
pickThis was a cozy/type mystery. The location as well as the baking show aspect was the reason I chose this book. The contestants were unique. They arrived at the Grafton House, in Vermont where the cook off was to take place. Chapters focused on one player at a time. Of course, there was a murder. Contestants were sabotaged. There were twists and turns. It you are a fan of cozy mysteries, I think you will enjoy it.
pickA cute YA romance featuring a teen baker from a Bangladeshi family with a talent for donuts and puns. We have a rival ex-girlfriend, a new crush, a saboteur and competitive baking - plus set in Ireland. Shireen rises above nasty social media bigotry and leans into her skills and flavors. Made me want to binge Nadiya's season of GBBO with a box of treats.
pickI read this book in one day. Reading it gave me a warm happy feeling, just like I get when watching The Great British Baking Show. The contestants seem so nice, like family, and I am happy the baking show in the book felt the same. I liked that the main character was 77 years old and living her best life. This book was a fast read, and should appeal to fans of cooking shows and following your dreams.
