Parkland | Dave Cullen

I said I was going to do my #LibFaves19 list here on Litsy too but I‘m a few days behind. Day 2 was my #9 pick published in 2019. Parkland by Dave Cullen. #librariansoflitsy

MyNamesParadise I absolutely loved Columbine by Dave Cullen; I‘ll have to give Parkland a try! 5y
MelissaSue81 @MyNamesParadise - They are actually VERY different books, but both good in their own way. I preferred Parkland. It is more about the students who started the #NeverAgain March for Our Lives Movement than the shooting itself (though they do describe that day as well). Columbine was dark, this was inspiring.

MyNamesParadise @MelissaSue81 thank you for the heads up! At the time I read Columbine I was more into darker subject matter. Now it wouldn‘t hurt to have some inspiration! 5y

Any other #librariansoflitsy doing #libFaves19 on twitter starting today?
Librarians are counting down their top 10 books Published in 2019. This my #10. Think I‘ll count down here too.

marleed I loved this books. In July it made it Tony Top6Reads of 2019. I‘ll be interested to see how that stack looks on NYE. 5y
MelissaSue81 @marleed - I liked it a lot too. It won‘t make my overall top 10 for the year but for books published this year it makes the cut. I love his writing and he has so much humor and heart. 💗💗 5y
