I am LOVING this. My coworker‘s been on me to read it, and my hold finally came in: much like Remarkably Bright Creatures, I‘m sorry it took me this long! Elizabeth is amazing and I adore her. 🥰😍 #lessonsinchemistry #bonniegarmus #librarianpick

dabbe I'm reading this now, too, and I agree 100%! ❣️ 2y

Next month‘s #ReadWithMrBook is choosing a boom recommended by a bookseller or a librarian. @Cinfhen graciously asked me for some recommendations. I pulled 12 titles from my collection that I found highly enjoyable...most are perfect distraction reading. I‘ll tag the books in the comments below, with a very brief reason for the pick.

Feel fre to ask me for suggestions or to take a look at any of my pick reviews! Happy to help! #LibrarianPick

Librarybelle Sorry for #Zeke ‘s tail! He refused to move for the shot! #catsoflitsy 5y
Librarybelle A very thorough, yet highly readable bio on Queen Victoria 5y
Librarybelle Because, of course Jane is a super sleuth and can solve a murder. First in the series: 5y

Librarybelle My favorite Christie. I‘ve reread it countless times, and the conclusion still gets me: 5y
Librarybelle Cozy mysteries are the perfect distraction for me. This is the first in a series featuring a librarian in a lighthouse, and of course a cat! 5y
Librarybelle While this one is a little deep and can cause emotions, I think this is also an extremely helpful book during this time. We all react differently to situations, but we‘re also not alone. Gottlieb is amazing. 5y
Librarybelle A spin-off of Pride and Prejudice set in a Muslim community in Canada. It‘s fun, awkward, and good distractive reading: 5y
Librarybelle YA with a big punch. I absolutely love this book...Death‘s handmaiden sent on assignment to assassinate an official. Problems ensue. 5y
Librarybelle Kate Warne, the first female Pinkerton agent, gets her turn to shine in this novel. There‘s hints of romance and danger. And, #LitsyAuthor : 5y
Librarybelle Historical fiction set in 6th century Scotland. The rise of the legend of Merlin appears. First in a projected trilogy. Can‘t wait for book two! 5y
Librarybelle The Blizzard of 1888 in NYC killed hundreds, including Prudence‘s fiancé. But, she thinks it wasn‘t the blizzard that killed him, and she‘s set to discover what really happened. I had the pleasure of meeting the author last Fall, as this was my library system‘s One Book selection. She‘s fun, and the series so far has 4 titles published (this is book one): 5y
Librarybelle Probably my favorite of 2019. Finally....someone gave voice to the victims of Jack the Ripper. Amazingly written. 5y
Librarybelle Barbados historical fiction, filled with lush descriptions and a romance that could rock society 5y
Cinfhen Woohoo!!!!! Thanks 🙏🏼 I own The Five!!! And it‘s on my #BookSpin 💜💜💜and a few of the others sound great too!!!! 5y
Cinfhen @TrishB check this out 5y
TrishB Thank you! @Cinfhen very weirdly I don‘t own a single one of these. I like the look of The Lost Queen but not available on kindle. 5y
AmyG Oooo thanks. I will read The Summer Country. 5y
Librarybelle You‘re welcome, @Cinfhen and @AmyG ! Sorry, @TrishB ...I‘m surprised The Lost Queen isn‘t available on Kindle. I thought just about everything was! 5y
Cinfhen And lots of people LOVE this one @TrishB 5y
JenReadsAlot I'm totally going to read one of these! Thanks! 5y
BookNAround Oooo. I might use one of your recommendations for this prompt too! 5y
TrishB I thought everything was on kindle 😁 5y
TrishB @Cinfhen what the dead leave is (cc on kindle!! Outrageous ? so that‘s a no. Ayesha looks promising and is only 3.79! 5y
Cinfhen 3.79 is more reasonable @TrishB now if you had a library card...... 😊😘😜 5y
TrishB @Cinfhen lol 😂 😂 I‘ll be better prepared for the next pandemic I promise!! 5y

April is almost here 😁! Remember that we are sharing our #ReadWithMrBook March picks on the 29th, our #LittenAuthor / #LitsyAuthor ones.

April‘s is a book not chosen *by* you but rather *for* you. You‘re supposed to ask a local librarian or bookseller, but thanks to the world‘s worst timing, you can ask any librarian or bookseller. You put your fate in his/her hands! Hashtag will be #LibrarianPick or #BooksellerPick!

Please share! ☺️🤗

squirrelbrain I‘ve got mine sorted already. It was recommended by a bookseller and I bought it a few weeks ago and I‘ve been saving it for April.... 5y
MrBook @squirrelbrain , niiice! 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻 5y
Birdsong28 You can look on Foyles/Waterstones website for the staff picks as that is where I am getting my April pick from 😊📚📖 5y

Scochrane26 I‘m using a book that was recommended by a bookseller last year. I haven‘t read it yet but have kept it in mind because she said it was so good. 5y
Bookzombie I think my library has staff picks on their site or I will check into a book store. 🙂 5y
Rissreads That is a fantastic idea as my local indie book stores put up recommendation lists. I will pick something from those. 😊 5y
