Pickpick

I am not in menopause yet. But I am getting nervous about it being around the corner. As a true book nerd, I am going to be researching the hell out of it! Anyway, this book was written in such a lovely way. I love the “down-to-earth “nature of this book, which allowed me to really feel less scared. #BookSpin @TheAromaOfBooks

MemoirsForMe Be fearless! There are many myths and misconceptions that make menopause scarier than it is. 5d
dabbe My two cents: if you suddenly feel your heart racing, and you break out into a sweat over your entire body, it‘s not a heart attack; it‘s your first 🥵 flash! 😘 5d

ElizaMarie @dabbe Thanks! I am worried thats gonna happen while I am with a difficult patient (knowing my luck). But thank you for being open/honest with me about your experience. I was thinking of coming up with a perimenopause group or something. Like a little support group - maybe in the same of Self Care Type of group. 5d
ElizaMarie @MemoirsForMe YES thats why I am trying to get more info - so I won't be lost! 5d
dabbe @ElizaMarie That's a fabulous idea! I only remember one specific time when I had one during class; I just stepped out in the hall until it passed. You might not be able to do something like that. Most only last a few minutes, and most of mine occurred when I was sleeping in bed for some reason. 5d
TEArificbooks I have good days and bad days with it. There are way more symptoms than you realize. I completely understand “Karen‘s” now. Kinda like a period, as time goes on the symptoms start light and then increase then decrease. But each stage can take years. I just picked up Naomi Watts book about it. 5d
