First time reading a Taylor Jenkins Reid novel and I‘m really enjoying it. I was “intrigued” from the first chapter and I‘m loving how TJR goes back into the past to develop the characters present. I am slightly, if not, completely obsessed with TJR. What a great read. I loved the dynamics of all Riva siblings and wish I could be sitting amongst them, feeling the family love that is so evident. My only complaint is that I had a small doubt of everything happening in that one, wild night but hey, I‘m definitely not a celebrity so what do I know lol

This was surprisingly disappointing. There were so many characters I found it distracting. And because of that I didn't feel particularly attached or connected to any of the MC's storylines. And when I lose interest in the story, I get bored. I liked the description of 1980s Malibu, though. Would've loved more of that.

I loved Daisy Jones and The Six, though.

So I have not posted in a LONG time.
The pandemic, stress, depression, dealing with remote-learning, you name it, I‘ve been unhealthily not doing all kinds of STUFF I usually do, although I HAVE been reading.
But I haven‘t been posting on Litsy, just logging books.
ANYWAY, this book was a LOT of sun-and-booze-soaked fun so I highly recommend it for a start of summer read.
