A really practical starting point if your company is using EOS. If not then it makes a really good case for why businesses should be using EOS. I enjoyed the main points not getting bogged down in jargon. Not a long read and sets you up well for the next phase.

I read this for a work group. I didn‘t hate it, I just think the people who need to apply it the most are not the ones reading the book. This was a good read, nonetheless, and we had some great conversations because of it.
Always love when I get an assigned a book to read for work!

Keeping my goal the same as the last couple of years because it‘s achievable. I don‘t want to feel I *have* to read just to hit a goal.

My Goodreads goal for 2025… added 5 books from last year! Here‘s hoping for a good reading year!
I don‘t leave the house on Black Friday anymore, but Small Business Saturday still calls to me. A little yarn from Charlotte Yarn and some books I‘m really excited to read from Park Road Books. 💖
This was just meh. But it might be ok if you're a new manager and didn't already read dozens of these. Julie is a Facebook veteran and does talk about some of her more senior coworkers but overall 🤷

Like so many books of its type, there is some generally useful thought and a heck of a lot of filler. Should‘ve been 5-10 pages. It‘s aimed at leadership levels, I‘d be wary of anyone in leadership who got much out of it. One would hope that experience, self reflection and personal growth would have gotten you there. But then management are often some of the least capable people in an org. I wouldn‘t recommend wasting the paper this is printed on.
