Book and brunch! Trying to finish my library books before the New Year, where my plan is to read ONLY books I already own. Anyone else planning reading challenges for next year?

WhatDeeReads Spent all morning planning #LitsyAtoZ and #ReadHarder. I can do 86% of both challenges with books I already own with no overlap between them. 7y

abbylibrarian I'm doing #ReadHarder and also aiming for #morenonfiction and #ownvoices. (All my resolutions are hashtags, apparently!) 7y

CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian @Lucky_LaDee Nice! I have 96 books on my "own but haven't read" and am thinking getting through all of those on top of my school reading is the most I can do! 7y

Librariana Oh, I wanna do the same!! I tried to fill as much of my #LitsyAtoZ TBR with books I already own... although I *did* do a naughty thing (but hey, it was Christmas money!) and bought two books for said reading challenge. There might just be 3-5 letters where I'll need to borrow titles from the library 😊 7y

Eyelit I'm planning on using mostly books I own for the two litsy challenges (and I'll only need the library for 5 books!) and I'm hopeful I can fit some more of my books into the read harder - but I suspect that will be slightly more difficult 7y

CaseyTheCanadianLesbrarian @Eyelit Yeah, I think I'm pretty sure I don't own any books that would fit in a few of the #ReadHarder challenge. Definitely don't own any books about sports! 7y

missevievelyn I did the "read books I own and haven't read" thing last year (2016)! It was really satisfying, although I had to stop when I moved for school and left most of my books behind. Good luck with yours! 7y
