This was on my TBR pile for a couple of weeks. It was so very good and about a small part of this conflict I knew little about. Winston Churchill was brilliant in many ways #nonfictionread

This was a fascinating read! The amount of information this author included in this book was well researched and delivered in a very entertaining way. This is really focused on a part of history the is oftentimes overlooked and I learned a few things I was unaware of which I think is important. #nonfictionread

This #nonfictionread was very interesting. Despite knowing how this would end (he gives up the crown) it was really interesting to see how this all played out! So much drama! I honestly didn't know much about Wallace and this was an eye opener. I really think this was a book that should be part of WWII curriculum.

TheBookHippie Wallace was something else. I did a deep dive on her for a paper and was 😵‍💫. I absolutely think this should be taught. 1y

This #chunkster #nonfictionread should be required reading for all! So much to learn and understand. Whilst there are a few dry moments overall I found this to be a very consuming read. From learning about his childhood all the way through his struggles and arrest and how this touched him after. I learned so much.

Another #nonfictionread and this one was terribly fascinating for me. These six sisters were so very different and it was interesting to see how each of their life choices and their shared home life shaped these women. Highly recommend this book.

Another historic read that not only informed but didn't read as a textbook lecture either. This was a perfect amount of true story and history. I haven't seen the movie and doubt I'd bother to be honest. A quick read to be sure #nonfictionread

This is without a doubt one of my favorite books regarding Winston Churchill. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read its faced paced, doesn't read like a textbook, and does a fantastic job of putting the reader right alongside Winston Churchill as he made his way through an impossible situation. #nonfictionread

dabbe Did you read THE SPLENDID AND THE VILE? I'm finding that one hard to push through. Stacking this one, though! 🤩🤗😍 1y
KristiAhlers @dabbe I have not. That makes me sad though as it's on my list to read. I do find that author can be a hit and miss for me. This one though I literally inhaled in a day 1y

This was so interesting and eye opening. I found myself both appalled and horrified whilst at the same time unable to put the book down. Truly, a very good and educational read given the pandemic we all just went through. #nonfictionread

PirateJenny The Great Influenza is another great book on the subject 1y

This #nonfictionread was beyond heartbreaking. But, it's also as odd as it sounds an empowering read as this woman unpacked her history and found her personal history and truth.

This is such an insightful and interesting read. She tackles some really tough issues with her grace and honesty. She's another writer I pick up automatically. #blackhistorymonth #nonfictionread 🌟🌟🌟🌟
