Anyone else having issues with Litsy?

The app is fine but the PC version won't load review page & I keep getting 'Bad Gateway' message.

I've tried logging out & logging back in but no joy!

julesG Yes, same here. The webpage doesn't work properly. 2w
TheKidUpstairs I was on the website last night, it was loading but I couldn't comment or make a post, only read posts. 2w
OutsmartYourShelf @julesG @TheKidUpstairs - not just me then! I've sent Litsy a quick email just in case they were not aware of any issues. I'll let you know if I hear anything. 2w

TheBookgeekFrau I saw a few people post this yesterday. You can report the problem with an email to Litsy@librarything.com 2w
melissajayne I noticed it was taking a long time to load on my laptop last night (have a MacBook). 2w
dabbe It‘s still majorly messed up. I keep writing to the email given by @TheBookHippie. I heard back the proverbial “we‘re working on it.” Keep writing! So annoying! #blehtotechnology (edited) 2w
TheBookHippie It‘s been awful. Litsy is old and they don‘t update it or intend to. Last update is six years ago. I imagine it will slowly not work. I‘m in denial and hoping it‘ll just clunk along. 2w
OutsmartYourShelf @TheBookgeekFrau Thank you, I have emailed them. 2w
OutsmartYourShelf @dabbe I emailed today but will keep trying if nothing changes. 2w
OutsmartYourShelf @TheBookHippie That‘s disappointing. I find it easier to copy & paste from my GR reviews rather than typing it out again on the app 😞 2w
OutsmartYourShelf Finally managed to post a review - only took me about 30 tries! 2w
dabbe @OutsmartYourShelf Hey, my 1st reply on the website. Looks like it might be fixed. #notholdingmybreath 🤣 2w
rwmg I'm still finding Litsy very slow. I finally managed to post a review but it was by clicking the quote link and then changing to review. 2w

Mehso-so

So I didn‘t enjoy book 2 as much. I kept fading out of the story—it just wasn‘t keeping my attention. Mostly, I feel the issue was the character development fizzled. The characters, particularly Jinx, felt flat and just didn‘t go anywhere. But I‘m still going to go on to book 3. Maybe it will get better? 🤷🏼‍♀️ #notholdingmybreath

The Group: A Novel | Mary McCarthy
post image

A group of 8 college friends meet up a week after graduation to celebrate the wedding of one of their own. The Group then follows their lives as they each forge their own version of adulthood.

This was on my TBR for awhile because it sounds like something I would love. Then I removed it because the Litsy reviews were mediocre. Now after seeing that it was the top book for The NY Times list for #december1963, I‘m stacking. #winterwonderland

Bklover I seem to remember my mother reading this one at some point. I think she may have recommended it to me. 6y
TrishB Good reasoning 😁👍🏻 6y
saresmoore I, too, am easily swayed. Stacked! 6y

Cinfhen I once had this stacked too! I‘ll be watching for your review...#NotHoldingMyBreath 6y
Ruthiella I found this book fascinating! It‘s a little gossipy/soap opera like but also a look at gendered expectations and limitations placed on upper middle class white women in the mid 20th century. 😀 6y
Suet624 I think I read it years ago when I was much too young. I think it was a bit racy for its time. 6y
