I devoured this #BOTM club book. It kept me guessing as to what was really going on with the main character, Eugene. It overall had a very intriguing premise. Through it all, I loved to love story…the idea of a love that transcends centuries and even lifetimes.

This one was a very fast read. Read it in two days. I am left curious. Not a spiritual person to start, I am fortunate that I already possess an open mind, a character trait this book highly encourages. We don't know all there is to know about this life, the next one, or the last. All we can do in the here and now is remain open, learn, grow, and help those around us. While referencing the Old Testament in the book, I couldn't help but realize⬇️

Jennaree3 That most of these teachings, those of reincarnation, of paying debts and earning your next life, are highly, highly Buddhist teachings. Interesting perspective. 8/10. Category: psychology, reincarnation, psychics 1mo

I finished reading about a minute ago, and am typing this review with tears in my eyes. The book ended so beautifully. The story made a lot of twists and turns in its way to the end. It wasn‘t all happy, some parts were very sad and disturbing. This man, Gino, lived quite a life (or lives?). I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and look forward to reading more by this author. I highly recommend this read.

Themes: Epic stories, Multiple timelines, “Big Fish” movie feel (totally agree with you @jdiehr 👍)

This was a very interesting book, at times I felt like there was almost too much going on, but it oddly worked. I keep typing and deleting what I‘ve typed because I don‘t want to spoil anything. I‘m just going to say it was a pick, I‘m glad it was a BOTM option 👍

Two months in a row now, my #botm books have been excellent!

Again and Again is about a man named Eugene who is nearing the end of his life (or, maybe just THIS life) in a nursing home.

BOTM said if you like the movie Big Fish, you will like this book, and I agree 💯

Is Eugene just a batty old man or has he lived multiple lives searching for his true love through them all?

I will be recommending this book again and again...
