Since joining Litsy I‘ve realized there is a lot of genres I need to give a 2nd chance coz I‘m not 15 anymore and I might actually enjoy them. One of these is Poetry, I think as a teenage student having it forced on you by a disinterested teacher kinds of skews your opinion. So I‘ve started with Robert Frost because I know I like some of his work already. I think by the time I finish, there‘ll be a forest of tabs lining the side. #poetryisthebomb

Tamra You could try Ted Kooser. VERY accessible and he‘s a poet laureate. 😁 I savor each of his short poems. 7y
