In some ways, this story feels very dated; however, the plot could easily be ripped from today's headlines. Angry man suffering mental health issues begins amassing guns, ammunition and explosives with a plan to use them--all to prove a point. This was certainly not a great novel, but I did find it incredibly frightening because there are so many incidents like this happening all over the US right now. 😡🖕💣💥🧨 #stephenking #pseudonym #bachman

The Cuckoo's Calling | Robert Galbraith

Wow. The first half was really tedious, but I‘m glad I powered through, because I did end up somewhat enjoying myself by the end. I‘m also glad it‘s over, I was ready for this book to end 100 pages before it did.

I like it enough to read the next book in the series, but not right away.

Ajessgirl It took me three tries to get into the first one, but now I like the series and can‘t wait for the fourth installment! I love the detective and Robyn as characters, though the gore in the second and third books was a bit much for me. 7y
