Making the most of the winter sun again. Great story set in one of my happy places, Iceland. I think I‘ve read others of hers. This did not disappoint. A clever plot and very well written characters . In days gone by I would have had it as a plane read. Perfect for the long journeys we have to take to get anywhere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was so good I didn‘t want to quit listening! It is a bit creepy, though, as it involves stalking. If you were a victim of stalking, as I was, be warned. #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

Watching You | Michael Robotham

Marnie Logan feels like she's being watched: a warm breath on the back of her neck, or a shadow in the corner of her eye that vanishes when she turns her head. She has reason to be frightened. Her husband has inexplicably vanished, and the police have no leads. Without proof of death or evidence of foul play, she can't access his bank accounts or life insurance. Depressed and desperate, she seeks the help of clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin.

This was my first time reading this Australian author and I will now have to go back and read the others in this series as I really enjoyed it. The characters are interesting and flawed, but still likable and the plot held together well. I did feel I had missed some of the back story and want to know so much more about Evie, so would recommend starting with the first in the series “Good Girl, Bad Girl“. 4.25/5 stars.

CBee I like this series! 2y

Not quite as good as the others but still a really good read. Evie finds herself in danger yet again, as a witness to a kidnapping. Cyrus‘ brother, Elias, is released from the secure psychiatric hospital he‘s been at for the last 30 years and is staying with Cyrus. What could go wrong. This is a really good series I highly recommend. Unfortunately, the fourth book isn‘t coming out for quite a while. ☹️ #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

I‘ve only read a few of his books. I really like this series which features a strong young woman called Evie. This is third in what is called the Cyrus Haven series.
The only negative for me was I found the ending a bit too drawn out. Great for tv perhaps but once I knew who did it I just skipped the rest.
Look forward to meeting Evie again. Cyrus staring to grow on me too.
