Pickpick

Gotta love a series so zany to begin with that even the most off the wall bonus bits tacked on the end don't feel out of place.
Highlights for this volume:
Everything with the hamster
Denouement of the sauna episode
Completely oblivious misinterpretation of zombie motivations

The wacky shenanigans with the history/threat but not the reality of violence, more absurd parody of it, continues.
The highlight for me this volume were the chapters focusing on the sweetest father-in-law ever.
The dessert competition with social media engagement stakes is runner up.
I'm noticing some traditional gender norm judgements on display, but its limited to antagonists spouting such nonsense, and unorthodox-ly contested by our 1/?

Robotswithpersonality 2/2 unsettling hero.
Though for as many women as there are appreciating Tatsu's accomplishments in the domestic sphere, I do wish more males than Masa were also willing to follow in his footsteps.
Perhaps too lofty a goal for such a comic series, still glad for the simple reversal of older standards, having Miku be the career woman, in the breadwinning role.
On to the next volume!

Way of the House Husband, volume 2 (from my TBR pile)
Such a simple and hilarious read! Also…I somehow have TWO copies of this volume??!! I‘m fuzzy as to how this happened 🤔 Most likely ordered twice without realizing, and then too lazy to return? Yes, most likely 🙄😆

To Sell Is Human | Daniel H. Pink

My second Daniel Pink book. I have liked the both. In this one he revisited the accepted ideas about selling and updated them for our current situations. It helped me rethink old ways of thinking and start considering new things. Creative book. Well written and engaging.

Can a manga series about a former gangster be funny? Oh yes! In volume 2 the legendary “Immortal Dragon” tries dance classes, volleyball and yoga to maintain his fitness. #comics #translation

The side story about Gin the cat trying to take a dump outside is so funny that I almost peed myself.
