Day 24 #SeasonsReadings2017 #Scrumptious🍲 Giving this little foodie holiday read set in Paris a try, pairing it with a scrumptious Red Pepper & Tomato Soup for a late Christmas Eve lunch. The soup alone is good but I won't lie, it's the Fried Basil Croutons on top that make it so scrumptious. Odd & True | Cat Winters

Today's #souoersundays soup was tossed together from the pantry & spice cabinet: Creamy Middle Eastern Red Lentil Soup with Israeli Couscous & Harissa-Mint Yogurt. 🍲❤️ Really good & hit the spot. I started a bit of this book over an early dinner. I liked the author's Yesternight but have not read any of her other books. This one caught my eye at the library this week. OK, technically today's soup for #souoersundays Vegan 'Wonton' Soup with "a Reasonable Broth to Wonton Ratio" was inspired by the 2016 film Ghostbusters: Answer the Call for the monthly movie food blogging event I take part in & not a book--but this book (on my Kindle #TBR) seems an appropriate match. ???
