On the third instalment of weird printing issues with my current read. Obviously was a typo or a misprint somewhere as this section has a pink piece glued down over a section of the page.
So far with all the discovery of the odd things , no parts of the story are missing so at least that a good thing.
And the Oddness continues… they obviously had some printing mishaps. This is two blank pages glued together. The next page after the jagged piece I just posted . 🤪

We don‘t have a B&N in Clarksville, we have to drive to Nashville or go when I am visiting my parents. The fact that the Lovely Ladies sent me gift cards to my parents was just amazing, and we went today! So many hardbacks on sale, plus 30% off coupon, plus member discount, plus those gift cards... this was an EPIC hardback #BookHaul and I even got a signed copy of Yoon‘s book I have been wanting. Thank you all so much! It really made my day ❤️

Today's #souoersundays soup was tossed together from the pantry & spice cabinet: Creamy Middle Eastern Red Lentil Soup with Israeli Couscous & Harissa-Mint Yogurt. 🍲❤️ Really good & hit the spot. I started a bit of this book over an early dinner. I liked the author's Yesternight but have not read any of her other books. This one caught my eye at the library this week. Library math-I took back 2 & picked up 1 transfer/hold (The Children of Hurin for #LOTRchapteraday) & 4 more books came along home with me-so with the 4 I already have at home, I now I have 9 library books checked out...📚📚😬📚I couldn't resist the shiny new-ness of the tagged book & Thornhill, I have to return the audiobook of Indelible & I'm not done & there's a waiting list, & a print copy of EINTY will be nice for #LitsyBuddyRead #excuses😆
pick4⭐️ book that was pretty solidly consistent in its storytelling. I loved that for the majority of this book I was questioning fact vs fiction, what is true, and is perception reality? The sister bond, love, and loyalty was touching. This book kept me riveted most of a Saturday. The magic, mystery, fantasy, and fantastic storytelling will sweep you away from the ordinary into the question of the extraordinary.

pickI picked this up for my next read because I love Cat Winters, yes, but because it sounded like a fairytale romp with monster-fighting sisters. Oh, it is so much more and different than that! Beautiful sister relationship, real-life heartbreaks, a disabled MC, and lots of family secrets, plus a gorgeous storytelling style oscillating between the 2 narrators back & forth in time. Challenges what you think you know about myth-making & tough girls.

There is basically no romance...IN A YA HISTORICAL FANTASY FICTION *shocked smile* told through past and present tense chapters
The sister love and personal development is so good and important and well done. Life got members of this family down a lot and it broke my heart but they're so resilient and strong and I love it SO MUCH!
pickThe cover is what immediately drew my attention, it put to mind a kind of 1900‘s Buffy.
What I got was a much subtler, but no less enjoyable, character driven story. I would recommend it for people that like slow building character driven novels about female familial relationships and the many different strengths of young women.
