Here are just some of the things I enjoy about Fall time.
Aesthetic: dark, Spooky, romantic, but also with a touch of color (Think of día de los Muertos)

Full of heart, humor, twists, turns, and relatable questions about what (and whom) we believe. Young CJ‘s mom died shortly after CJ was born a moving story about faith, family, and loss.

The message in the 2nd volume in The Spirit of Denendeh graphic novel series is that it‘s never too late for redemption and that the prospect of leaving a legacy to be proud of can carry us forward to a better future. The portrayal of Fort Smith is impressively realistic—it‘s rare to see NWT communities in fiction. Tlicho cultural traditions & beliefs as shown are interesting too. Dynamic art and an inspiring story: I recommend this! #Indigenous
Nice to see this Easter egg: Lacey takes a brave step in her life and she is carrying a copy of Helen Knott‘s memoir, In My Own Moccasins.
Anyanwu and Doro are powerful, immortal, godlike beings who may or may not be human. What a wild, up and down ride with a slow burn satisfying (?) payoff. It was a lot of fun seeing the ways that Anyanwu challenged Doro, and I loved the insight we got into her body-focused powers (which reminded me of the Ooloi from Butler‘s Xenogenesis saga). Used for my before I was born prompt for #RushathonChristmasBingo. #Classic #SciFi #Spirits
