I binged listened to this whole series while driving through rural Mississippi and Alabama, which was SO EERIE. I seriously want to go back and relisten to the whole thing. I've heard it compared to a southern gothic novel and I completely agree! #stown #podcast

Eliza-beta Such a great podcast. They did such a great job. And they leave you with tons to think about. Agreed - I may have to re-listen to it! 8y
OffTheBeatenShelf.com Omg, I'm from Alabama and went to the same college as John B and I gotta say, his observations are pretty spot on. 💯💯💯 8y

So, I'm half-tempted to consider #stown podcast as an audiobook for the month. Incredible! If you haven't checked out this new podcast from the producers of Serial and This American Life, check it!

BookishFeminist I've been meaning to try this!! 8y
Karen_V I tried it and really struggled with it -- enough to quit, in fact, though I really liked Serial. It's definitely creating strong responses from both people who love it and those who didn't. 8y
Chassie I totally think it should count as an audio book. I thought the same thing when I was listening to it. I need a short story collection inspired by the podcast. 8y

melrailey I loved S-Town and think it should be an audio. It was very interesting and ended up going somewhere quite different from where it started. 8y
rachelm @Karen_V I've noticed that! Which chapter did you quit on? 8y
rachelm @Chassie I kept thinking that too! I wonder if they will release something..: 8y
rachelm @melrailey so true. It's very hard to categorize. 8y
Karen_V @rachelm after chapter one! It just wasn't sitting well for me. 8y
rachelm @karen_v ohh! It realllly changes directions after chapter 2, but I can see it's not everyone's taste 8y
