Have to say that I was super-excited to read this book!
That being said...it was hard for me to get into and I found myself distracted by other books. I‘m going to set it down for awhile and when I have the time to focus on it, it will be back in the spotlight.

Great language, but story rambles. She is one of my favorite writers, but this stand-alone with a male narrator lacks urgency. #slow #takingabreak
bailedEven though I was really excited to start this in September, mentally I think I started it at the wrong time. And instead of forcing myself to finish it and not enjoy it as much, I‘ve decided I‘ll hold off. Hopefully I‘ll be able to pick this up again later in the year when I‘ll be able to enjoy it more.
