I wanted this book to be better. Allowing for it to be YA, it still should be better. There is a great deal of repetition, especially between the geographic-area section introductions and the profiles within those sections. There should be a subtitle explaining that this is solely European Theater (a second book deals with Pacific Theater). No section for Russia at all. Cont below
This is a beautifully illustrated book/movie companion that I picked up for $1.99 at a bargain store (along with a significant stack of other books 😳). This was a fast read and has put me in the mood for a Hunger Games marathon. Recommended! #hungergames
