This is about timing. Best, most productive times of the day. Why it's better not to graduate during a recession (😂 duh) etc. I found it very interesting. It also justified my inability to get things done in the afternoon when I get up at 5. Explained? Whatever.

Crazeedi This sounds like one I want to read! You get up at 5 too?☺️ 10mo
TheAromaofBooks Mornings are my time haha I try to use late afternoons and evenings to do more mindless, low-energy tasks. If it doesn't get done by 3pm, it's probably going on tomorrow's list 😂 10mo

"Taken together, all of these studies suggest that the path to a life of meaning and significance isn't to "live in the moment" as so many spiritual gurus have advised. It is to integrate our perspectives on time into a coherent whole, one that helps us comprehend who we are and why we're here."

Some useful and practical ideas in this book. Knowing WHEN to do something is just as important as knowing how to.

claudiuo I love Freesias, what a gorgeous bunch! 3y
IuliaC @claudiuo mee too! 😊 the scent is fantastic 3y

The science of perfect timing may sound dull, but between fun examples and great narration, this is an easy pick.

Pink breaks down the best time of day to brainstorm, the best year to leave your job, why more recess leads to better test scores, and why so darn many people run marathons when they‘re 29, 39, or 49. My favorite example showed why being down 1 point at the half can be more advantageous than the lead. Interesting stuff! 4⭐️ #audiobook

Te Araroa kilometers tramped: 1872.9 of 3005.3

A short read/listen. Really interesting stuff about timing and how you can apply the findings to your life. Easy to follow and lively writing. One critique I had was that it was white-collar oriented. #libby

A few truths with lots of examples. Having already read these examples in many other books, I was bored. If you haven‘t read a lot on the topic, this is a good overview with a pleasant presentation.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Timing is everything. With so much going in life, we‘re often more concerned with “what” rather than “when.” This was an amusing, quick read. I‘m not sure it all holds merit. I think I‘d wake up from a “nappuchino” as bitchy as ever. 😆 But, I think in terms of school timing, this book is spot on. I also agree with the motivational qualities of beginnings and endings. Though-provoking stuff.

emilyhaldi I just had to google "nappuchino" and can confirm I would be a super-bitch if I ever gave that one a tryb for me it's a 3 hour nap or nothing...(And I still usually wake up a total crank ?) 5y
britt_brooke @emilyhaldi 😆 That‘s why I just can‘t nap at all. 5y
LeahBergen @britt_brooke @emilyhaldi I‘m exactly the same! It‘s why I don‘t nap. 😆😆 5y
britt_brooke @LeahBergen 😆 I‘m seriously better off tired. It‘s best for everyone around me. 5y

I liked this and will now be taking “nappicinos” ! Timing is everything and here is the science behind it! 5.5 hours on audio read by Pink himself. Learn the optimal time to do most everything and then slow down and take a nap🤣☺️

britt_brooke Definitely stacking after hearing about it Saturday! 6y
Booksnchill @britt_brooke It is short and useful- 2 things I like in a book! 6y
