pick2nd book of the new Daniel Pitt series As always, I enjoyed the story. Twisty plot & suspenseful writing!

so-so2nd book In Perry‘s Daniel Pitt series. Daniel is a lawyer in 1910 London. His sister and her husband are visiting from the US and have brought a case with them. A young British diplomat has been accused of embezzlement but may have committed another crime in the US. I found Perry‘s logic to be illogical and nonsensical even - for a time, it seemed she was bringing a murder in the US into the British courts. I didn‘t hate it, but...3.0/5.0⭐️ #2019

My belief that Thomas Jefferson is just like Trump is now complete. Unfortunately, we have complete historical precedent for Trump in the White House. We never learn from history, so who will our ancestors be burdened with?
I now basically HAVE to homeschool my kids (if I ever have them) because they‘ll be insufferable toward their history teachers other wise.
