Just finished reading ‘The Woman in Black: Angel of Death‘ by Martyn Waites. It was pretty good. I enjoyed reading it but I don‘t think it has that reread ability factor that Hill‘s original has. Now, off to watch the three movies!

The Stones of Muncaster Cathedral is an excellent story by Robert Westall. The narrator, Joe Clarke, has such a unique and memorable voice that really adds to the depth of the story. Though Westall was primarily a children‘s author, this creepy and chilling story is enjoyable for even the seasoned reader of weird fiction.

With this edition from @ValancourtBooks you also get the story ‘Brangwyn Gardens‘.

The Woman in Black by Susan Hill is one of my all-time favorite ghost story books. I‘ve read it so many times and look forward to reading it again. The 1989 TV version is also excellent. What do you think of this story?
