Using my #vintagebook for some #visiblemending. I love these boots so much! They've been with me all across Ireland and walked 80miles with me in Mexico. Any repairs I can do to keep them around is worth it!

Pickpick

I both really like this #diy book and find it slightly aggravating. The how-to in the beginning is super helpful and I do often turn to this book for #visiblemending and #upcycling instructions. However, the majority of the book is a photo gallery of work the author has done. While very inspiring, I would have enjoyed more stitch how-to's...or a slightly lower price tag 😅

julesG So relatable. Your trousers though: Chef's kiss! 2y

#audiomending #visiblemending (using my newly dyed embroidery thread) while listening to mesmerizing stream of consciousness

cariashley I was wondering if this was good on audio! 3y
Lindy It‘s excellent on audio. I‘m on my second listen now. 3y

My son must have a very pointy left knee. 😕

Thanks to this #audiobook #visiblemending these two trousers wasn't as boring as it could have been.

I'm in the middle of CD4, they are discussing fingerprinting as a new method of forensics which hasn't been accepted as a means of solving crimes yet.

quietlycuriouskate I do visible mending, too. I'm not the best stitcher, though, so really I'm just rocking my limitations. 😊 7y
julesG @River_Voice I'm not very good at stitching either but it's enough to rescue the pair of jeans until my kid has grown out of them. 😁 7y
TrishB It's trendy to have rips in them here again. My daughter has no knees in her jeans - by choice! 7y
Cathythoughts God bless my mother ( long gone) she mended all the knee - holes in my sons schoolpants. Over 20+ years ago. She did a perfect job. ❤️❤️❤️ 7y
julesG @TrishB My son was afraid, with winter coming (😉😂😂) it might be better to mend them, but in a cool way. @Cathythoughts I could have done it invisibly, but where's the fun in that. 😉 7y
