“Arrange the books in a way that looks good and makes sense to you—whether that‘s alphabetical by author, by subject, or by color, width, or height—or even just randomly.”

My sensation of horror just grew as I read this entire sentence. What kind of monster is Martha Stewart? Organizing by color, I‘ve seen (anxiety-inducing, but you do you) - but by width? Height? RANDOMLY?!

I don‘t think I can do this.

GingerAntics Clearly she‘s been hanging around with Snoop again. The contact high must be stunning!!! 1w

thebacklistbook I have done by height within alphabetical by author last name before. Except when to do it would mess up a series. 1w
Amiable I mean, I agree with the comment about arranging books in a way that makes sense to you. That‘s how my shelves are organized—it makes sense to me. I just don‘t see how arranging by height makes any sense—I‘d never be able to find what I‘m looking for! 1w

This book is in my Library Thing books so I have it somewhere (a lot of my books are not shelved since my move). Anyway I had and still have this plan (among many ) to take up knitting. Maybe even a sweater one day.
Prompt: #sweater

Some mini comics I got at Flamecon. All are highly recommended, but Sanika Phawde‘s “Do You Still Hate This About Me?” is particularly amazing. It really touched a nerve. #comics #indie #queer

There are pages full of resources like tenent laws by state, federal laws and regulations as well as some great info like house hunting and what to look for and I wish this was something I had when I looked at my first apt.

After reading the first few chapters, the "Emotional Resetting" started to feel idk odd? I couldn't understand why Mercury is apologizing for different things so it read odd for me but all in all, a solid book.

This is a wonderful look at into the work of Adam Savage. It‘s part memoir, part science, part shop talk. It was fun to hear him talk about creating. Even though I create in a much different way than him, I took a lot away from this lovely book. It‘s funny and uplifting, encouraging everyone to nurture their inner creator.

GingerAntics The subtitle made me a little nervous, but this isn‘t a book about thinking positive and more about creating whatever it is you create with wild, passionate, abandon. 6mo

Mother‘s Day free books haul!
We were on our way to my mom‘s and a neighbor had things out in their driveway with a “Free” sign. I spotted stacks of books and immediately pulled in. 😅 There was a good selection but either they weren‘t for me or I already had them. But these three! The tagged has been on my wishlist for a bit. I love that there are post-it bookmarks left in by the previous owner. I can spy what crafts caught their interest. 🤣

Ruthiella Nice haul! 👍 6mo
