Austin Friends! I just spoke to Book People and they're open normal hours today, and the rain has let up a lot, so come on out for our First Austin Litsy Meetup!!!
I can't wait to see you all! Remember if you are able to, bring a wrapped book to exchange "blind date" style. Several folks are bringing extra books, so NO PRESSURE! Even if you don't bring a book, you'll be going home with one!
Dinner after if anyone wants to, we'll decide there.

Julsmarshall I'm not sure I'll make it either. We don't have power and the mud/water mess is a real challenge with the dogs. We also have family that evacuated and they're a little needy. 7y

jpmcwisemorgan @Soubhiville I appreciate the offer but I'm going to sit this one out. I think my area is ok, although there is some standing water in the roads but I don't want anyone taking any chances! If you're in Lamar be careful. I heard there were some sinkholes around 38th. 7y
Fortifiedbybooks I'm still going to be there, assuming I can get there from where I live. I don't think it will be a problem though since there doesn't seem to be any flooding in my area. 7y
