#June #WrapUp #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks
1 bingo, 16 books down for the month! 7 away from 100 books for the year which still blows my mind. 😍

June turned out to be a reasonably good month for reading after all. I had my doubts a few times! Starter Villain was my favorite, though there were some other contenders.

I finished Cocaine Blues in the wee hours of the morning and enjoyed it. Entertaining and compelling, while also addressing some serious issues that unfortunately persist today.

Pickpick

May reading #wrapup

Favorites:
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng &
Can‘t Get Enough (tagged) which is book 3 in the Skyland series. I just love this series so much. Kennedy Ryan gives us strong, very real women who take no shit and find partners who love them for the strong women they are without fear. 🥰

Also read:
Madam by Cari Lynn & Kellie Martin for #roll100
Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs for my #mercyreread
Both 4⭐️

Worst read ⬇️⬇️

MeganAnn Worst was Abducting Abby by S.E. Smith. Poorly written, the sexy scenes were cringey & the plot was all over the place. My mom wanted my opinion. She saw a bunch of good reviews online & others talking about how good it was… then couldn‘t believe how bad the writing was. She wanted to know if I felt the same (I do). To get the bad taste out of my brain I did a reread of Ice Planet Barbarians then gave it her as a well written example of the genre (edited) 4w

May #wrapup

Total read = 10
7 audio (2 novellas)
3 print

I returned to several series I had paused on and started a couple of new ones. My pick for May is Sandstorm, because it reminded me that I can get through a #chunkster. I gobbled up the almost 600 pages while on vacation.

TheBookHippie 🎉 chunksters 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 4w
Reggie Where‘d you go for vacation? 4w
Bookzombie @Reggie I had a staycation. It was great. We have had a lot change at work and I was just ready to be off of work. lol. 4w

May #wrapup

A few good ones this month. James was well done and I loved learning more about Eve. Boots on The Ground was also good, I liked reading about veteran‘s experiences and it gave good insight.

I‘m not sure what all happened this month that I only finished four books, but in any case the tagged book was my favorite. #wrapup

Bookwormjillk I think there was some sort of warp in time/space that made the month go too fast 1mo

#JumpStartSummer #WrapUp

Having hubby home cuts into reading time. Finished my two buddy reads and progress was made on my audio and ebook but zero progress on my other 2 print books.
