Amazing book! One of my favorites that I've read this year.

The land descriptions were so in depth that I could picture it and maybe even smell it. The characters were well drawn out and relatable.

I laughed, I cried, and I was disappointed when it was over.

Definitely recommend!!

One of the best books I've read in a long time. Part suspense, part love story, part heartbreak. I was wrapped into the story from the very first page. The characters were so well developed that I felt like I knew them all.

Beware...I sobbed the last couple of chapters. Definitely not what I was expecting from suspense novel. 100% recommend this book!

marleed I know. There‘s no crying in mysteries! 5y

A great thriller with lots of twists and turns. Characters were well developed and easy to identify with. I found myself getting a little teary eyed in the end. Would definitely recommend!

Unlike anything I've ever read before. Took me longer than usual to read the book as there were so many details and characters. Almost reminded me of a "choose your own adventure" without the flipping pages part. Definitely recommend if you get the chance to read it.

Really enjoyed this book. Gripped my attention right away and held it. There were several different plots going on at once. Although there was a lot going on, it was easy to follow along. I loved the characters and really felt a connection with several of them.

I love Savich and Sherlock. They are a great couple/team and really make the books more interesting.

A beautiful and heart-warming story about family, friendship, and the secrets we keep.

I wasn't sure I would like this book at first but I ended up falling in love with it. I loved the characters and the way the story was told. I was able to put myself in the shoes of each of the women. I loved the way the story combined the past with the present and how one person's secrets affected her family/friends in the future.

Yes yes yes! This is full of everything you want in a book!

It pulled me in right from the start. It was full of suspense and kept me guessing with every chapter. The characters were totally relatable and it was so easy to put yourself in Melanie's shoes.

Do yourself a favor and pick up this book immediately. You won't regret it!

One of the reviews on the cover stated that this book is a "terrifying thriller." I was not terrified or really all that thrilled.

The story is told from the perspectives of the 2 main characters, Jack and Sydney. Each giving their version of events. It was not difficult to read or follow but I was really hoping for more. I wanted to be scared and it just didn't happen. I would say this was more drama and a "who dunnit" style vs thriller.

I had a really hard time getting into this book but I had heard great things about it so kept reading. I'm glad I did. It finally kept my interest a little over half way through.
This is the first time I've ever teared up while reading a thriller/mystery book. The ending was perfect. I just wish the whole book would have been as good.

Former sweethearts separate, move away, and begin families with other people. Years later they end up being neighbors. Sparks reignite as they try to deny ever knowing each other.

Told from multiple perspectives, the characters were easy to relate to. It was an easy read that quickly grabbed my attention and held it to the very end. Definitely recommend it!

Suspenseful at times with a hint of romance. Definitely a distopian/sci-fi book which usually isn't my thing. Overall though I enjoyed it and would give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Oh my goodness! This was such a good book. It captured my attention from the very beginning. It was so hard to put it down and if it weren't for day to day responsibilities, like work and family, I would have read it faster. I

t was suspenseful with well thought out characters. I found myself switching suspects every few chapters. It really had me guessing all the way to the end. A perfect "Who Dunnit" book!

Wow! I loved this book. Such an attention grabbed with a lot of suspense.

I suspected who did it about half way through but never could have guessed how it ended. I wasn't ready for it to end and wish it would have kept going.

At the beginning I was very annoyed by Ashley and felt she was so over the top terrible at being a mom. I really almost gave up on reading it. But, about half way through she finally starts to realize that's she not as bad as she thinks she is. By the end, I found myself cheering for her and even cried along with her.
