This wasn't my favorite of all her books but it was still a good, quick read! 3.5 stars out of 5.

I've loved the other books I've read by Lisa Genova. Excited to start this one tonight! #whatimreadingnow
It took me an entire month to read this...it was super slow in parts and addicting in others. I'm not sure if I'll finish the series...should I?
I am excited to see how this all plays out in the show!
This book is hitting home so very hard. Especially if you are a long time blogger or social media influencer, I think this book will speak to your heart. #chasingslow #whatimreadingnow
Happy Book Lovers Day everyone!
I love this quote by author Sharon Creech. "I love the way that each book - any book - is its own journey. You open it, and off you go...” Sharon Creech #bookloversday
3 hours left of our 16 hour drive today. Hoping to make a good dent in this book by @JulieKlam #whatimreadingnow
I absolutely loved this book...fascinating historical fiction that makes me want to dig up more information. (Great audiobook narration as well).
I really really want to love using the library but why oh why do they have to put the shiny book covers on alllll the books? Don't they know reflective surfaces make for tough picture taking? 😂😂😂.

I feel like I am the only person who didn't love this book. It felt un-finished and I struggled with the authors somewhat complacency about her life. I was hooked right at the beginning but then it just unsettled me the more I read.
I will add, this was a very courageous book despite my overall feelings.
New book to read, a pool and my kids playing happily. I ❤️ summer!

This one has been on my #TBR stack forever. I'm finally starting it today! @Tiffy_Reads
Excited to be joining my first Litsy daily challenge #sizzlinsummerbooks with @Tiffy_Reads
Started today & already overcome. Wow.
"“This is what most girls are taught—that we should be slender and small. We should not take up space. We should be seen and not heard, and if we are seen, we should be pleasing to men, acceptable to society. And most women know this, that we are supposed to disappear, but it‘s something that needs to be said, loudly, over and over again, so that we can resist surrendering to what is expected of us.”
Such a charming, quick read. I need to watch the movie next!
We've had the most glorious weather today! Perfect for reading and rosé. What's the weather like where you are today?
When you sit through what seems like a zillion kids to watch your kid for 5 minutes at a swim meet, you bring a book! Bonus reading time.
Have you read One True Loves yet? It was one of my favorite books from this year so I'm so excited to start the authors newest one today!
First off, does anyone else wonder what happened to Laura's cat? I've worried about the poor thing ever since the first chapter!
This book had a few holes but was a good "mystery on the high seas" type thriller. If you are claustrophobic at all, or fearful of being in wide open water, reading this book may trigger a sense of panic inside of you at times. Definitely don't read it if you plan on cruising anytime soon ?
I struggled with Beartown just because it was so slow at the beginning, really picked up in the middle, then my attention waned towards the end. I wanted to love it but just didn't, which I know is not the norm for this book! (I listened on audio...loved the narrator but maybe this book would be better in print).
Fun!
1) Kansas City
2) Lots of book-ish people were mentioning it on Instagram! I had to check it out and am so glad I did. (Why is it suddenly getting so much attention? Anyone?)
3) I thought The Light Between Oceans was so beautifully done as a movie!
4) We used to go to summer camp and had to find, paint and take a box turtle with us for turtle races at camp. We'd always set them free at the end of camp though!

Grapes and gratitude! Love this newly released gratitude journal from Tiny Buddha!
How many of you use a gratitude journal or list each day? #gratitude
I read The Happiness Project several years ago and it absolutely changed my life! I was drowning in kid and work responsibilities and taking very little time to focus on my happiness. Reading, for one, which brings me such joy took a backseat.
I'm now a self proclaimed "ambassador of happiness" all thanks to how this book changed me!
To me Hygge means cozy, comforting and inviting. Although this book didn't have a lot of eye opening advice for creating a Hygge life, it was an enjoyable read and had some really fascinating tidbits about how the Danish live! #hygge
