Love this quote! It speaks so much to me!
"Good writing is often about letting go of fear and affectation. Affectation itself, beginning with the need to define some sorts of writing as "good" and other sorts as "bad," is fearful behavior. Good writing is also about making good choices when it comes to picking the tools you plan to work with."
I love this quote! As a writer it gives me a sense of understanding that there really is no such thing as bad writing.
"You may be born into a family, but you walk into friendships. Some you'll discover you should put behind you. Others are worth every risk."
How true is this? Love it!
"Shut your face."
I love this because it brings back memories. My friends and I used to say this all the time when we were in middle school/High school.
This quote makes me feel good because I'm a writer and it makes me think that no matter what I put on paper....it could actually be good!
Time to start this series! I hope it's good as some people have said!
I read this in high school and really liked this book! Going to read it again since I'm waiting for the book I actually want to read to come in the mail.
I usually read this book at night when laying in bed since it's on my kindle app. That way I dont disturb my husband's sleep.
I'm waiting for a book to come in the mail so I can kick off the series I want to start reading so I guess I'll just read this one more than just at night to keep me distracted from the excitement of getting the book I need!
"I was raised to be honest, but the truth can be complicated. It doesn‘t matter if the truth won‘t make a mess, sometimes the words don‘t come out until you‘re alone. Even that‘s not guaranteed. Sometimes the truth is a secret you‘re keeping from yourself because living a lie is easier."
Trying to get through this book but it's so slow. I'm going to continue reading it but I keep having to put it down. Is it worth the read?
My dad got me these fingerless reading gloves! The black ones having part of the story of The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe and the white ones have Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare on them! I ❤ them!
This is my current reads right now! Have you read them? I'm finding them pretty good! Almost done with The Last Wish! #readingislife
