I cannot recommend this enough- it gives you all the perspective you might not have had in school, but sorely needed. Life in the Americas before colonizers showed up.
Additionally love the information about plant cultivation and environmental shaping.

So far I am enjoying the two narrators with their various styles via Audible. Love apocalyptic fiction. Somewhat station 11 like so far.

I enjoyed reading this book for its lack of depth and the general fun ride. I can see why Richard Matheson has inspired so many other horror writers over the years, as the imagery and descriptions are interesting for the time it was written. Short, enjoyable, and easy to read.

A very supportive book for women and men alike. I found myself nodding during the entire audiobook, as I‘ve done so many of the things that contribute to my situation as a woman. After listening, I sat at the table with defiance and confidence that I was meant to be there and I‘m definitely leaning in. Absolutely worth a listen/read.

This was a really fun audible short (4 hours approximately). I enjoyed that the actors were energetic and immersive. The voice actress for Ripley was spot on too. Worth a listen for sure!

Listening to this is exactly what I‘ve needed for the last few weeks! So good for moms, graduates, or women of all kinds!

Such a good book! Very good brain food with the right amount of action. It jumps about from character to character but honestly I cannot recommend enough the Audible Version. The narrator was fantastic with accents and excitement. So wonderful.

I bought this book years ago before seeing Dame Jane Goodall speak at my university. I love the pages which are the perfect color, the print is wonderful and the content exactly what she feels and is just lovely. It took me years to finish and not because the book was dull, but because I didn‘t want it to end. But end it has and it will bring me joy sitting on my shelf next to her other books.

We you have to study, it‘s good to have a friend by your side.

First encounter with this writer. I was unsure what I was going to get with this (if it was about working or time management), but honestly it was a book that really helps you to speak to why you do everything. I mean it can help you understand the motivations behind your work or help you focus on why you do things in your work life or in your own business. A really deeper through provoking book than I was expecting.

I feel very on the fence about this book. It felt like walking through a dream reading this. The imagery and the very fantastical animals make me want to read the next one. It felt very similar to my first time reading the Giver

I enjoyed the majority of the short stories. My favorites are: The Postman by David Brin(always has been), Patient Zero by Tananarive Due, and Advertising at the End of the Word by Kerry R.M. Kehrli. If you enjoy dark post apocalypse fiction you‘ll like this.

It took a few months to read through and the ending felt rushed. I enjoyed Ready Player One, but this felt like a rip off of Ender‘s game and Starman. However, I‘m not disappointed that I bought it or read it. I just wouldn‘t reread it. Meh. Just meh.

I really enjoyed this audiobook. My only reservation was that the author‘s voice was a bit irritating, but with the stories, ended up feeling very right for the content. Dealing with people and managing how to give feedback is really in depth. I‘ll likely re-listen to it again because I could definitely use the information.

So, I Give this book a so-so reading because it wasn‘t the revised version. So a lot of the examples were out of date and Some where kind of offensive. However, the ideas as a whole are very good. I think many of the concepts could do a person well that wants to improve their management skills. Or above management skills improve how they talk to people and how they interact.

Traveling always requires a re-read (Wrinkle In Time), new recommended books (American Gods and Buddha), a school book, and of course a coloring book. Also, handmade bookmarks. #MustTravelWithBooks

A recommendation from the library and I can honestly say it was surprisingly fun to read! Short, intense, and gritty. Visuals that will make Stephen King fans smile and nod. An homage to King's child centered horror stories, this book will take you for a ride down a dark Lord of the Flies inspired hole and leave you wanting more.
